The Vision

Kindred Works is proposing two new 12-storey purpose built residential apartment buildings. The development will feature 240 + new rental homes.

The existing Church community space, and purpose built apartment building on site will be maintained. New outdoor amenity space will also be provided.

Current Site

Westminster United Church has served the spiritual needs of the community for nearly two centuries. Dating back to 1840 as Burnhamthorpe United Church, the original structure has seen multiple additions since construction, with the latest being completed in 1992.

The property currently consists of the existing church / community space, and a 7-storey apartment building, known as Tomken Grove Non-Profit Homes, both of which are to be maintained and improved through the development process. Community amenities and services include a library, study groups, parks, childcare, and gardens.
